About the Role: Cloud Ops Engineer (Entry-Level)

Cloudside Technologies is currently hiring Cloud Ops Engineers to join our dynamic team in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. This is an in-office, full-time position designed for individuals with 0 to 1 year of experience in cloud infrastructure and operations. Key Responsibilities

As a Cloud Ops Engineer at Cloudside Technologies, you will be involved in:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Handling cloud environments on GCP, AWS, or Azure, ensuring their availability, performance, and security.

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implementing and managing infrastructure using Terraform.

  • Operating Systems Management: Working with both Linux and Windows servers to ensure smooth operations.

  • Cloud Security: Understanding and applying basic cloud security principles to safeguard infrastructure and data.

  • Scripting & Automation: Writing scripts in Python and Shell to automate cloud operations and streamline deployments.

  • Database Management: Working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) to manage cloud data services.

  • Containerization & Orchestration: Deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters (GKE, EKS) to support scalable applications.

  • Monitoring & Observability: Implementing monitoring tools to track system performance and optimize cloud resources.

Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements

  • 0 to 2 years of overall experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps roles.

  • Familiarity with GCP or AWS cloud services.

  • Understanding of Operating Systems (Linux & Windows).

  • Proficiency in Python or any other programming language.

  • Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.

  • Database fundamentals: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.

  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (GKE, EKS).

  • Basic knowledge of Cloud Security principles.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • GCP Certification is a plus.
