About the Role: Cloud Ops Engineer (Entry-Level)
Cloudside Technologies is currently hiring Cloud Ops Engineers to join our dynamic team in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. This is an in-office, full-time position designed for individuals with 0 to 1 year of experience in cloud infrastructure and operations. Key Responsibilities
As a Cloud Ops Engineer at Cloudside Technologies, you will be involved in:
Cloud Infrastructure Management: Handling cloud environments on GCP, AWS, or Azure, ensuring their availability, performance, and security.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implementing and managing infrastructure using Terraform.
Operating Systems Management: Working with both Linux and Windows servers to ensure smooth operations.
Cloud Security: Understanding and applying basic cloud security principles to safeguard infrastructure and data.
Scripting & Automation: Writing scripts in Python and Shell to automate cloud operations and streamline deployments.
Database Management: Working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) to manage cloud data services.
Containerization & Orchestration: Deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters (GKE, EKS) to support scalable applications.
Monitoring & Observability: Implementing monitoring tools to track system performance and optimize cloud resources.
Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
0 to 2 years of overall experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps roles.
Familiarity with GCP or AWS cloud services.
Understanding of Operating Systems (Linux & Windows).
Proficiency in Python or any other programming language.
Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
Database fundamentals: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (GKE, EKS).
Basic knowledge of Cloud Security principles.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
GCP Certification is a plus.
Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Docker.
Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and security best practices.
